Celtic Insurance, Big Premiums For Nothing
on August 12, 2011 at 10:32 pmWhen someone is self employed, it is difficult to find insurance that is affordable. I have had Celtic Insurance since 2000. It is now 2011 and my premium has gone from approx $1100.00 per quarter to $4120 per quarter- and every 6 months they up it some more!
Also, God forbid you make a claim because Celtic will refuse to pay for just about anything. There is always an excuse from them such as- pre-existing conditions, deductible not met and not in network (even with PPO).
I was calling them trying to get them to get an extention on payment or change to monthly instead of quarterly. Every person I talked to was rude and told me there was nothing they could or would do for me!
I would bet that if it was their health insurance they would do their best to keep themselves covered! I would not recommend this company to anyone. I can’t believe that after 11 yrs. with this company they could not help me at all!
