Geico Insurance Company Simply Doesn’t Care
on January 6, 2011 at 10:28 amA woman crossed over two lanes of traffic and hit me, totaling my Nissan Altima. I called Geico to get a claim number, and explained to them what had happened.
Three days later, Geico called me back saying they would only assume 90% responsibility, and that I had to assume the other 10%. This was because the other driver claimed she had stopped, and that I should have seen her and been able to somehow avoid the accident. I explained to them that I tried to stop, but there wasn’t enough time to maneuver in such a way as to avoid it.
Geico has refused to change anything, and because I have a lot on my plate at the moment and am unable to fight this I suppose I have to just take it up the rear.
Please avoid this insurance company, they could not possibly care any less about the truth.
