Increase in premium for Midland life insurance
on February 10, 2011 at 1:34 pmI received a letter from Midland National Life Insurance Company stating that my premiums were increased from $100.00 a month to $570.00 a month. The letter also stated that this amount does not ensure continued coverage, and that the premium may be increased again.
I have until Feb. 24, 2011 to pay $1,040.00. I called them they said they used the paid up value of my account to make the difference in premium, and now that is gone and I have to make up the difference. This is the first I have ever heard of this. My next step is to call the consumer advocate of Iowa.
