Insurance Complaints

In March of 2009, while my husband was in the hospital having a heart attack, our home  (which is above our business) was robbed.

Scottsdale ,the insurer, has since been bought out by American Financial. After all this time (almost 2 years) they have not paid us a dime.    According to our figures, we had over $20,000.00 stolen.  We even offered to settle for half…..still NOTHING.

They have requested the same paper work over and over.  We have sent emails and made calls to the broker and still not a cent.  We have never been able to speak directly with the company.  We are only told by our broker that they have promised to return our calls by a specific date/time.  Those dates have come and gone with no call from American Financial.

I wonder if they will ever pay up. Goverment by the corporation is not what our founding fathers intended…and yet they do…and we the victims suffer. I wonder which level of Dante’s inferno they belong in? They sure have made our lives hell here in WV.
