State Farm Refusing To Cover Car Rental
on August 12, 2011 at 3:37 pmOne of State Farms Insured hit my parked car on April 6, 2011. I had my car repaired and got a rental vehicle while my car was being repaired. I was reimbursed for my deductible, but State Farm is refusing to pay the difference on my car rental, which is $192.00.
Adjuster Kelli Louden became defensive and said they are not paying any more for this claim, and that my insurance company should pay the difference. I feel differently, since this accident was not my fault. It was not a moving violation, and no one was in the car at the time of the accident. In my mind, all of this makes State Farm responsible for all damages incurred.
I would also like to add that State Farms Insured left the scene of the accident, but returned when a passenger in his vehicle told him he hit a car and must go back.
